And so it begins.......

    I never have been one to be too extremely literally blessed.  I guess this is why I have avoided formally posting a blog up until this point.  Finally my kids all sleep through the night, my hubby is at work, and I have some quiet time for mwa!!!  Those of you who know me already know, I am obsessed with cleaning, cooking, taking pictures of my kids, bargain shopping, and having a good time.  I guess this seems like the right outlet to share these interests. 
    I guess I have reached a point with facebook that I post so many different links, or pointers that I use, but I, myself, have to go back and figure out where I saw them.  So, I am going to attempt to try to organize my "tools" here for myself, and YOU to use as well. 
    A little about me, Amanda McClain, to begin.  I have three amazing kids: Blair,3, Peyton,2 (almost), and Jamison (6 months).  Those of you with kids know that this is pretty close together in age and can sometimes be trying.  At the same time, I CAN see the light at the end of the tunnel now.  My husband and I are DONE having kids so now I can relax, fit back into my favorite jeans with a glass of wine and laugh and the hilarious comments that fly out of their mouths.  My husband, Jim, works so hard and is very dedicated to us.  We are very lucky to have him.  We just opened up a lunch cafe in our town a month before Jamison was born.  This is in addition to his previous job.  Needless to say, Jim has his hands full with work, and I have my hands full with the kiddos. 
    I LOVE cooking, photography, creative hobbies,cleaning, saving moola, shopping, music, and my family.  My hubby will tell you, while he loves to play poker or video games, I could search the internet for hours and be content.  At least now, I can show you all the helpful sites along the way. 
    Any pointers are always helpful for any of you out there, as I have never done a blog before.  I know where to find other blogs, but not exactly how to run my own :)
    With all of that said, I'm off to try to create this site!!
