So, now this is my new addiction!!! LOVE ME SOME COUPONS! With 5 mouths to feed and one income. I have to stretch the bucks if I want any leisure moola. So, here we go!
#1....MUST visit
http://www.southernsavers.com/
Read her LEARN TO COUPON page. I just follow her lead and it seems to be golden!
She has a schedule of when store ads are posted, she them posts the deals, coupled with the coupons for that item. There are many print ables. She then also lists the coupons from the papers. She will tell you which insert they are in by name and date. All you have to do is keep them in order by date and cut them as you need them. No need to cut them all at once and then organize by item...TOO much work.
Publix used to be the most expensive trip I ever made, and now it is my cheapest and favorite. This website should be your best friend. You might say, I don't have time to coupon. Well, It takes me about an hour to get my lists together with how she has it organized. I know all of you can afford an extra hour a week to save 50-70% off of your grocery bill.
KEY:
If you are going to do this, you must stock up when the items are at their cheapest. So, if there is cereal for $.60 ea., get at least 6 boxes if you can, to last you through the 6 weeks, when that item will hit it's rock bottom price again. She will explain all of this for you. She even lists a price list, which is a good guide to stick to. If you find your item around that guide price...stock up!! I get 2-3 papers a week so I can get more than one item at the cheap price. Online print ables are only valid for the first 2 prints, so you'll need to gather coupons elsewhere as well.
She does not list Walmart. This is now my most expensive trip these days. A site called iheartthemart.com does any deals that Walmart has available. Both of these sites have coupon databases so you can look up the items on your list that you NEED for the week.
Try it out. I LOVE IT!
